Insects & spiders are some of the most misunderstood animals on the planet thanks in large part to media sensationalism and clickbait, cultural bias, and deep-seeded irrational phobias.
This page is dedicated to providing resources and information that debunk common myths, correcting misinformation, and offering trusted resources that reveal the real world of insects and their activities.
Not everything is a brown recluse. Honeybees in the USA are invasive species. "Murder Hornets" are not invading North America. Spider bites are extremely rare and grossly misdiagnosed.
