Expedition Entomology is chance for anyone, regardless of academic background, to join our research and conservation initiatives where you’ll help document biodiversity, ecological impacts, and discover species while hiking, swimming, climbing, digging, and camping in remote and biodiverse habitats as part of our research team. No experience necessary.
The Great Insect Quest is a worldwide insect biodiversity project for adventurers of all ages. From your backyard to mountain peaks, remote jungles to city parks, every outdoor space becomes part of your mission.

Members sustain our work in conservation, research, and education. Since we have a strict no-compromise funding policy, our mission is only made possible by individual support. And as you can imagine, gaining support for insects is difficult. Consider becoming a sustaining member of the Global Entomology Coalition and be the driving force protecting global habitats via insects!

We're putting together a dream team to call upon to participate in or lead field expeditions, collaborate on specimen identification, contribute to species descriptions, and/or co-author publications resulting from expedition research: We do not have full time, salaried roles, but our network of taxonomists will be compensated on a per-project basis depending on funding availability and tasks.
