Insects are disappearing faster than we can find them. Initiative 100 is an ongoing race against insect decline to accelerate insect discovery by identifying and formally describing 100 new species as quickly as possible. 

There are estimated to be 9,000,000 undescribed species out there, so this isn’t a one-time milestone.... it's a framework for our mission.

Once we reach 100 species, the initiative expands to 200. Then 300. Then beyond. Each milestone builds momentum, strengthens global collaboration with taxonomists, and contributes to a growing body of scientific knowledge that supports conservation at scale.
