JOIN A RESEARCH EXPEDITION
Expedition Entomology is a STEM-accredited multiple award-winning program designed to involve everyone in the scientific process while kickstarting new ecologically-focused entomology research projects.
​
It is a chance for anyone, regardless of academic background, to be a part of our research and conservation team documenting insect behaviors, ecological impacts, and discovering new species while hiking, swimming, climbing, digging, and camping in some of the most remote and biodiverse places on Earth. Participants not only gain field research skills and cultural experiences, but develop unforgettable bonds with the researchers and fellow participants.

Our mission is to inspire worldwide environmental stewardship by fostering a cultural shift in the perception of insects through research, education, and conservation.
By developing collaboration across borders, opening research to the public, and expanding our understanding of insects and their roles through exciting educational experiences, we can accelerate entomological knowledge and open the door to safeguarding our planet’s most important yet undervalued and misunderstood animals.
